For students from low-income backgrounds, organization can sometimes be a struggle. It is critical that they learn strategies for keeping track of materials, assignments, and deadlines. These student planners are designed to be both functional and flexible. Students will be able to write in their schedules, upcoming special events, and project deadlines.
By utilizing student planners, students can learn to be self-sufficient managers of their own time. Knowing the needs of our learners, it is important that we work with them to increase their organizational capacity, so they can be independent learners throughout their school careers. With your support we will be able to provide a planner to each 5th grade student in my class.
