People love to move, especially kids and my Second Graders are no different. When my kids are moving around they are more engaged and learn more during the day. When students get to choose which seating choice works best for them, they are learning essential life skills such as responsibility, decision making and self-regulation.
Having furniture that allows students to get their wiggles out throughout the day, allows them to stay alert and involved during the lessons. By giving them access to these flexible seating options, students are able to be typical 7 and 8 year olds...always on the move!
