These materials will be utilized during group rotation. Students will have time to choose an activity to work independently. They will be highly encouraged to work independently to build on what they have already been working on. They can also go to these activities if they have completed their assignment. These new materials are colorful for students to be drawn to. They will especially enjoy the pads and chair for independent library time. All of these materials will draw students to grow in various academic areas. It will also build organizational skills, so students can see visually where they are to go. Students will be able to access books at their reading level to use as guided reading. They will predict, look for key details and be able to express their ideas orally or with an illustration.
