This will be my second year teaching in Baltimore City schools as a first grade teacher. Teaching and being apart of the school system is something I do with my heart. I am filled with joy to be apart of our elementary school's family. All of the materials and donations made will not only help me but help the future of our youth. They are deprived of decent materials but I do not want that to be the case for my students. They deserve the absolute best. This will also be the second year Arundel Elementary School will departmentalize 1st grade. I will be teaching math, and I assure you they will leave my class knowing more than what is expected out of them. They are capable of so much more. All the materials are a necessity to the classroom from the glue sticks to the flexible seating. With these materials I will create a safe, fun, learning environment for all who enters.
