I want to create a section of my classroom dedicated to curiosity and inquiry towards history. I believe that having a section of my classroom dedicated to large picture books of information would create an inviting and enticing atmosphere for my students to gravitate towards. Young adults still maintain a natural curiosity that their younger counterparts outwardly portray. I want to create this area so that they can explore that curiosity. I've noticed that many of my students have an innate interest in history but due to budgetary constraints, I am limited to what I can provide in order to feed that interest. I believe that this goal is the right step for me to take in order for me to be that provider of knowledge for my students. This corner will allow me to supplement and enhance topics and assignments that I have my students engage in.
