Students today are busy with using technology for social media. I want my students to be able to use technology to increase their speaking vocabulary and increase their ability to read fluently. Using iPads in small groups will give each member a chance to practice these skills in such programs as Wwpet, as well as others. Students today prefer to work at their own pace with a goal in mind. My classroom allows for that with the use of various forms of technology. While I have computers, these students need iPads for another means of technology to access programs to meet their educational needs.
