Every year I have taught my math class I always have 10 to 15 students who are unable to buy their own graphing calculators. We use this on a daily basis and without one they will fall behind. I would love to be able to just have one set of graphing calculators in my classroom for all these students to be successful in our class. With the TI-84 graphing calculators, students are able to see the math in colors which is beneficial to understanding and distinguishing between different functions. I do have 2 calculators that I lend to my students but this is clearly not enough for all. I am hoping I will be able to get a hold of the graphing calculators soon so I can find different ways to use them in each lesson and engage my students. My goal for the end of each school year is to have my students like math just a little more than when they entered my class at the beginning of school. Thank you so much!!
