Most of my high school students in basic math have not had the opportunity to have and use their own math book and/or workbook. By having their own, they will be able to work at home, work at their own pace, and have a reference for future use.
This workbook would allow students to keep track of their work in one place, have their work accessible when they are absent, and provide them with a book that does not look elementary.
The reading level of this workbook is within the realm of the students who are in basic math. It is written so that they will feel more confident while gaining math skills.
