For years, I have taught my students with materials present, rather than wishing for something more. Making do have become a necessity in my teaching. When I realized this whiteboard table is now available to use to help students in small groups, I became very excited.
With this interactive whiteboard table, I will be able to use specific visual aids for students that are more interactive and hands-on than using a traditional wall mounted whiteboard that is stationary. Having a table that I can move to fit the needs of different students working in groups for reading, math, and writing will give my teaching platform more mobility and flexibility.
In my classroom, I try to give my students as many tools as I can in order for them to learn at their optimal capacity. This includes manipulative, visual aids, supplemental materials and programs/software, and systematic instructional strategies.
