During our guided reading block - one group of students meet with the teacher while other groups rotate through centers ie. writing, independent reading, and word work. The requested materials can be easily used by the students without teacher support. As a result, they increase their understanding and use of the English language. Their academic knowledge will increase, which enable them to obtain academic success. The students will develop their independent and teamwork skills. By learning to work independently and in small groups their excitement about learning will continue to grow. Our English Language Learners will excel in first grade.

About my class
