Welcome to our classroom! I teach English Language Arts in a Special Education Resource setting at a junior high school, where many of my students face both academic and personal challenges. Despite these obstacles, they show up every day with determination, creativity, and the desire to learn and grow. My students have unique learning needs and benefit from individualized support, engaging materials, and a structured environment that helps them thrive. Many come from low-income households and don’t always have access to basic supplies or resources that make learning accessible and meaningful. In our classroom, we focus on building literacy skills, confidence, and a love of reading and writing. Whether it’s breaking down complex texts, practicing writing strategies, or celebrating small victories, every moment counts.
