A "safe tent" is the start of a safe and comfortable environment for my students to go to whenever they are having a rough day. Within this tent, the sensory tools and timers that you can generously provide will help my students deal with their behaviors in a calm and structured matter.
My students range from ages five through six. Within this stage, they are developing social and emotional skills. My classroom is a behavior classroom where chairs could be flying all over the room, or friends and teachers could get hurt. With all of the sensory materials that I have shared and would love to have in my classroom, I am determined it will lower the risk of any danger within our safe environment that you can provide.
