With flexible learning stations, more students will feel at home in my classroom. One table is only the beginning. Students who cannot sit still will have a space to stand; this will allow them to focus on their learning instead of how much they hate holding still! Groups of students can work around this space together, as well. Math is more fun when the learning can occur together. Investigative tasks are also much easier when moving is an option! I hope to one day build a classroom full of flexible learning stations to meet the needs of ALL of my kiddos. This project is just the first step.
