Math manipulatives allow students to learn math in a concrete, easy to understand manner. They help students fill the gaps preventing them from making progress. Right now my students do not have access to hands on materials in math class, but you have the power to change all that. When students are able to apply their senses of TOUCH and SIGHT, learning becomes more interactive and attainable, not to mention, exciting, fun, and rewarding. With these resources, my students will focus better, remain engaged, and increase their academic achievement. This will allow my students to understand fractions, measurement, place value, operations, and number sense in new and exciting ways.

About my class
