These materials will help them get a head start into kindergarten. The materials will help with their social, and fine motor skills. It will also help with the academic skills of letters, sounds, and numbers. I will use these materials during their center time to reinforce the skills that I am teaching. We do a lot of fine motor activities in preschool and some of the materials will be used for that; along with learning to share and take turns using the materials. They will be used to strengthen their finger muscles. The quiet space will be used to teach them how to manage their feelings.
