In kindergarten, we spend a lot of time on the floor for instruction, collaboration, and play. I would love to be able to provide a clean area for my students to sit during writing lessons and partner sharing, Sanford Harmony lessons and Buddy-Ups, small group instruction, and even social play activities. The number and size of the squares will help provide personal space to each student, which is also really important, as many of our students are learning to share and give personal space to others. The overall appearance and design of the carpet will integrate nicely with our flexible seating.
