This lesson plan will give the students a fun learning experience while still mastering content. It will allow them to describe characters and work in pairs.
First, students will be required to create their own character cards, come up with descriptions for characters in the novel/play we are reading, and then they will have a chance to play GUESS WHO with a twist in partners.
This activity would be a fun way to prep for a final essay or exam for a unit, and give students some ownership for their learning. The game boards can be reused for each unit.
