A color laser printer would allow my students with Speech and Language disabilities the ability to print hands-on checklists, visual reinforcers, graphic organizers in color to keep on their desks as a visual reminder, bring them home so our students can continue working towards their speech goals at home wit their families. We need this printer for day to day hands-on projects in preparation for in person learning. The pandemic has greatly limited the use of non-screen materials in remote and in person sessions. To accommodate CDC guidelines, we have to print individual copies for each student. Since I'm an SLP and work towards individualized goals, I will be able to print and mail copies of resources to families who may not be comfortable sending their students back to school in September. At this time, I do not have access to a color printed and I'm working on expanding utterances, but cannot present an image in color! This printer is enabled with the Instant Ink program so we will be able to keep it stocked with ink without breaking the bank!
