I am an elementary school psychologist and while my office may be small, I aspire for it to be a safe place for my students to just be students. My students are free to be themselves when in my office; sometimes this means they are silly. Sometimes they are sad, frustrated, or ready to show creativity. My goal for my students is for them to have a safe place to learn and be authentic. I want a place where they can be comfortable enough to laugh or cry, show creativity, and learn how to problem solve.
