Time for Kids is a great way for the children to become engaged in a topic that is current to the month/season. The topic of each issue is relevant to the students and reflective of the world around them.
It also incorporates ELA with Science,Social Studies and Mathematics
Time for Kids includes lesson plans and teaching resources for each issue, including printable and online assessments.
The students become more engaged in the lessons when it is relatable to them. With the online portion of the newspaper the children also become interactive, they are able to watch videos related to the topic being discussed.
