Some projects aren't easily completed at desks. The items I chose will allow to students to work together in small groups comfortably. They will be using them to work on math stations, complete STEM projects and come together for whole group demonstrations.
I believe that flexible seating makes students feel more like they are a part of the classroom. It allows for more hands-on activities and collaboration and definitely makes everyday learning more fun! On top of this, they will help students feel comfortable in our classroom. Being comfortable physically and emotionally will help students focus and lead to better engagement.
I also requested math fact bracelets. These bracelets will be given to students as they memorize each fact. For example, if a student knows their multiples of 2, they will be given the 3 bracelet to practice the threes table. When they master their threes, they will exchange the 3 bracelet for the four bracelet.
