Learning to code is a skill that most students are going to need as they progress in their education in the 21st century. In my school district, we do not currently have a robotics program or a special emphasis on coding; however, I would like to help start a program within my class and then throughout my school.
The Sphero SPRK's will allow my students to gain hands-on experience on how to start with a simple block-program code. From there, we will begin to explore how to use those skills to gain further insight into more complicated programs. These SPRK's give the students a fun, exciting avenue to explore coding.
