Every week I meet with my students in small groups. We meet for math, reading, writing, and sometimes just to talk. I've had the same $5 Ikea stools for six years now and they're in pretty rough shape. I started with a set of twelve and I'm down to four. Those four are just barely passable as stools because the part of the stool that the children sit on is now only attached by one or two little pegs. During groups, four students sit on the stools, and two either kneel on the floor, stand, or drag their own chair over from their desk.
My students need a place to sit during small group instruction. The current situation we have is not very safe and it's only a matter of time until all the stools become completely unusable. The stools I have selected for this project are high quality, built to last, comfortable, space-efficient, and help fidgety students concentrate.
These stools will allow my students to comfortably sit around our reading table. They will help some of my more active students to focus and they will support students at our central place of learning. Your support of this project will help significantly improve my students' learning experience.
