Kindergarteners LOVE circle time and gathering together as a group. A colorful rug such as this one, with designated squares for each student to occupy (all by themselves) would also be handy for playtime, learning games and floor puzzles. This particular rug lends itself to learning all of the letters of the alphabet, alphabetical order, colors, and color patterns. Each student would feel important and confident being able to find their assigned square for circle time gatherings. Listening skills would be enhanced because floor noises would be kept to a minimum while students were on the rug as opposed to a tile floor.
