As a first-year teacher, I would love to be able to support my students with what I believe is best practice. I would love to start my teaching career off right by implementing flexible seating from day one. Flexible seating gives students the ability to chose a learning seat that is most comfortable to them. I am asking for support for students seating and storage such as yoga balls, scoop rockers, clipboards and drawers for student materials.
Flexible seating helps students focus on their work in an environment that is right for them.
In addition to student choice and comfort, flexible seating benefits students physical health while creating a classroom community built on collaboration and a commitment to learning.
