Kindergarten students have unrestricted imagination and we need to grow and nurture this creativity. We differentiate for academics but we need to for creativity as well. Kindergarten students need time to explore, create, build and play. This time will help to make the whole child successful. Brain Bins foster creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, social skill development, oral language development, collaboration and imagination. By providing a small amount of time a day, to things such as Geostix, Zoob, Magna-Tiles, Slot Together Snowflakes, Log Builders, Young Architects Design Blocks, Gears, Pipe Builders, Bristle Builders and Crystal Climbers not only will my student be focusing on the above mentioned skills, but they will also be building science, engineering and mathematics skills through hands-on experiences. Please help me to provide my students with hands-on opportunities to help them to be the best kindergartners that they can be!
