The classroom is in need of basic art supplies that will help us start off the year on a positive note. After going into the classroom to see what I was working with, I found a lot of unsalvageable materials such as dried paintbrushes, messy watercolors, and boxes of markers with no caps.
I want to be able to explore different media with my new students but in order to do that, we need supplies. I want these students to have the opportunity to express their creativity each and every day in the art classroom. Seeing their drawings come to life with color, exploring that new medium they've seen lining the halls before, putting on a smock to get ready to paint. These are moments every student should have and it all starts with having the necessary supplies.
Thank you for any consideration!
