In the new Medical Detectives unit, students play the role of real-life medical detectives as they collect and analyze medical data to diagnose disease. These requested folders will be filled with the patient information, symptoms and vital signs, lab results and case notes to help students complete their investigations and used to support their conclusions. In this course, the students will learn about the importance of vital signs, keeping good notes and records, and the charting and graphing of information to make a recommendation on the correct lab test to order so a proper of course of action to correct the situation can be determined.

About my class
