My goal is to ensure all my students can participate during morning meeting and other group activities using the bright, colorful seating and carpet. Students will also be able to practice the much needed skills of sitting appropriately and working collaboratively in a small group setting with their peers! I imagine my students being more engaged and attentive when they are able to independently make their own choices of where to sit. With these alternate seating options for my students they will be able to not only focus better but feel like they are part of a classroom that meets their needs.
