As a first year teacher, I am starting my classroom with very little. These school supplies would benefit my 30 5th graders immensely! Being that many of my students come from a socioeconomically disadvantage, having supplies ready for them will reduce stress on students and parents who cannot afford it. These supplies are items we will use on a daily basis including pencils, erasers, pencil pouches, expo markers, staples, tape, post it notes, red correction pens, markers, and multicultural crayons. These supplies will be used for whole class and small group instruction. With your help, students will be able to come in ready to learn.
