Fifty percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students will never get the chance to travel far from home. Through Google, Discovery Channel and National Geographic, to name a few, offer opportunities to go places and see things around the world.
By using virtual reality headsets with a smartphone or tablet, students can go almost anywhere in the world. They can visit beautiful places, amazing landmarks, see pieces of art that they may never have the chance to see. The VR headsets will give them 360-degree views and the feeling they are actually there!
