The current whiteboard in my classroom is very old, difficult to clean, and covered in stains. Any students sitting towards the back of the room have a very hard time seeing any notes I may write on the board for them. I also like to outline the day's activities, standards, and homework, which is very difficult to do on the current board.
Although whiteboards sound simplistic, they are definitely a much needed tool for teaching middle school students, and I use them every day. The STEM activities that are included would be options for my students to complete during their homeroom time for enrichment, or if they complete work early in class. I want my students to learn in as many hands-on ways as possible.
