Distance Learning has taught us all a lot about all of the technological tools that are available to us. I am so grateful for the ability to access reading materials on various websites so that my students still have access to great stories!
However, there just is nothing quite like holding a book in your hands, feeling the pages turn, and losing yourself in the story. And I think so many of us are feeling the effects of so many hours looking at a screen. These books will not only help advance my students' abilities to comprehend stories on grade-level (with instructional support), but they also will provide the opportunity to escape the pressures of our current time as they experience reading in these tangible books. I can't wait to give my students their books! (It's a surprise!!!
