A majority of my students have yet to find a book that captures their attention and sparks a love for literature! I would love to provide a library with interesting and exciting books to share my own love of literature with each student who is struggling to find the perfect novel to capture their attention. I've added books that are written by and about black and brown authors that are relevant and relatable to my students! Currently, my library is full of dated books that were graciously gifted to me from other teachers but they have been well-loved with torn covers and missing pages! I would love a fresh start for my students to explore and adventure through literature.
