Crochet hooks, yarn and other materials from this project will be used to start the first-ever Wolves Crochet Club. Crochet will teach students a timeless skill, perseverance, and problem solving while boosting their self-esteem. Students will learn to be patient with themselves as the learn and that sometimes you have to start over. As they develop their crochet skills they will be able to help and teach others, boosting their self-esteem.
Students will complete crochet projects for themselves, as gifts to family and friends as well as donations to our community. Projects are intended to be shared and donated to those in need. Projects will include mittens, scarves, small stuffed animals knows and amigurumi, and beanies.
