The Blends and Digraphs Teaching Tubs will help give a tactile approach for the students that need that. They will be able to touch and manipulate objects that have the sounds they are learning. They will also be able to sort the different sounds. The Magnetic Word Builders will help the student who is visual. They will be able to manipulate different sounds in the words and see how their sounds will go together to form the actual word. Roll and Read Phonics games, Fill in the blank stamps, and Splash! will give the students the opportunity to practice their new skills independently. Phonics is the base of decoding words and becoming a reader! These materials will help my Students become independent readers.
