In my room, I have 3 big drafting tables that have seen better days. They are wobbly, cut up, and have chunks carved out of them. The beat up surface makes it difficult for my students to work on their projects.
Right now my table space is very limited and too tall for most of my elementary students to reach. I only have my elementary students for 30 minutes a day. I need to be able to get them into a room and seated, ready to learn very quickly and efficiently.
With these new tables, I can create a better flow in my classroom, have enough table space for my students and have a setup where I can easily monitor everyone at the same time. Creating this setup will help me establish a better classroom structure as well as a routine. Having these tables will create a comfortable and creative platform for all K-12 grade levels that I teach. Please help me motivate and mold the young minds of my community.
