These STEM materials would support our new implementation of the Common Core Science Standards.
Through exploration of these items, my students will be able to ask questions, make observations, and gather information about a situation. They will develop sketches, drawings, or create physical models to illustrate how to solve a given problem. These crucial items would encourage my students to become more engaged and motivated about science. Most importantly my students would have more opportunities to think critically, be creative, collaborate and communicate with one another.
I envision my students beginning each day with meaningful conversation, and problem solving with peers through exploration and creation.
I would love to see all of my students grow academically and socially through the power and wonders of science and engineering. I know they would absolutely love and appreciate the opportunity!
