I will promote name writing and spelling as well as today stories. Writing boards are perfect for children to perfect their handwriting skills. I will use these boards at writing time with students to practice handwriting skills as well as for spelling tests. Each student will be able to practice writing the alphabet, making shapes and also their names. Students will be able to write colors and make shapes as well. I will make the boards a center area as well so at free play they are available to my students. I will use these on indoor recess as handwriting tools to practice with.
