The seating options that I have chosen for my classroom are going to help the students focus better, move around the room freely, and hopefully feel more comfortable and welcome.
Students should have a classroom environment that is welcoming and meets their needs. No student wants to sit in an uncomfortable seat for hours. It doesn't help them focus and often makes it harder to learn. My students' needs will always come first, and I want to make their last year in middle school one that will impact them for the rest of their lives as they prepare for high school.
