Students who are in first grade are starting to become familiar with school routines and procedures. To build on this, I want to allow my students to be able to access the materials that they need without needing to rely on the teacher.
Organizational bins give students the ability to get what they need on their own. Each item on my list will help organize a different part of the classroom. The paper bins will store both writing paper and construction paper for student use during writing and art. The calm color bins will help organize our classroom library. The large paper bins will hold manipulatives for math.
