I teach in a low income area of our town. Our budget is limited and is quickly used up for the much needed classroom supplies that our students do not have access to. My classroom is in need of supplies that my students can use to be creative, practice motor and cognitive skills and just have fun with.
Through the generous funding of this project my students will be able to play, learn and develop their communication skills.
Building blocks will give my transitional kindergarteners the opportunity to become builders, problem solvers and team players. TK students begin school at 4 years old! At this age they really need to play to learn.
