I鈥檝e always believed in the saying, 鈥淧repare to plan, or plan to fail.鈥 If you are generous enough to donate crayons, markers, colored pencils, pencils, dry-erase markers, Clorox wipes, and copy paper to our classroom, you will help prepare my students for success for the upcoming school year. As a second-year teacher, I have worked extremely hard to build a classroom library that my students will love and enjoy. Therefore, the library book envelopes and cards will be a great way of keeping track of who has checked out which book! The supplies I鈥檝e chosen are things we use on a daily basis. From writing our names, drawing fraction models, wiping desks daily with Clorox wipes to keep the germs away, to creating a beautiful picture of our favorite scene from the novel we are reading, you will make my students' year even brighter by allowing them to complete activities without having to worry about bringing in supplies themselves. You will also take the financial stress off their parents, which I know they would greatly appreciate!
