For my high school students, the only time when they really can get up and out of their seats is when walking to their next class. I know as a teacher I struggle to sit still when I'm sitting at my desk sometimes, and often I stand at my desk to do my grading. I'd love to offer my students the option to stand in class.
Having a standing desk would allow students to get up out of their seats, but still continue working on their classwork. I believe this flexible seating option would be especially beneficial for my students that struggle with staying focused in class or might have ADHD. These particular desks that I am asking for also have a swinging footrest bar at the bottom which would act as a way for students to release extra energy.
