Last year, our district made the decision to cut our Computers class in our school. That being said, technology will be lost in my second graders' lives if I don't step up and take charge of the situation. By having my donation fulfilled I will be able to take that step in the right direction and will be able to implement science, technology, engineering, art, and math into their everyday schedule in my own classroom. By the donation of these STEAM products you will be taking my Makerspace area beyond pipe cleaners and glue. My students will have hands on learning through the use of Robots and Legos. Consequently, students will be doing more than coding with robots. They will be problem solving, collaborating, and sequencing in a safe environment daily. With these new books, Legos, and robots my tiny humans will be mini coders that are learning teamwork skills, organization skills, and most importantly confidence in their work.
