These books will help make a difference in my students’ learning by allowing them to read different genres and authors within the classroom. They will be able to use these books in order to help them further their learning and understanding of literacy and make connects within the text, to the text personally, and relate it to the world. The students will be able to dive deeper into authors craft and structure, allowing them to comprehend the text and understand the why behind an authors purpose and the intention of the book that is written. This will also provide outlets for students into “another world” and provide independent/partner reading.
