Sitting still in the classroom is a challenge for many children but imagine if you have a learning disability that includes a sensory processing disorder, such as Autism or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, how challenging just sitting can be.
My students squirm and wiggle during instruction.
These wobble cushions can be used on the carpet or in a traditional chair. They allow the student just enough wiggle and wobble to meet their sensory needs without being a distraction to their peers. This tactile input actually helps calm my students and allows them to focus on literacy instruction instead of their wiggles.
