I have requested six Chromebooks which will help enrich the learning experiences for my students by allowing more opportunities for engaging lessons through the use of technology. Our district and our students are still rebuilding from Hurricane Harvey, and these laptops will go a long way in building our technology supply. Many of our students do not have access to technology of their own to use in the classroom. These six Chromebooks will make that no longer an issue. They will allow my classes to engage in activities that catch their attention and provide meaningful collaboration. Websites like Kahoot, Quizzizz, Nearpod, and Dreambox are some of the websites we will be able to explore if this project is funded. Students will be able to be responsible and check their grades along with research for our STREAM class.
