The materials I am requesting are essential for my students at this time. In light of Covid-19, the emphasis on reading and math have taken top priority. I integrate as much science into my curriculum as possible, however, adding the labs to this would improve students understanding and offer authentic, meaningful learning opportunities for them.
These materials will be used to compliment our curriculum in science. They will use the science notebooks to record their observations from the labs. and the wiggle seats will be used by my students that need flexibility when they are working. Many of the activities from our science curriculum require scissors. Currently my students are using scissors made for 5-6 year old students so this will greatly help them. This project will help my students get excited about the science curriculum!
