My students come from underserved communities that struggle day to day with equity and identity. This is why I want to make my students feel like they belong and they are in a safe environment. The materials will help me launch the new 3rd grade classroom since it's the first time for the school to teach it, we have an empty classroom!
Flexible seating and meaningful centers will encourage, motivate, and empower my students, who will be experiencing standardized testing for the first time.
My students will be learning to multiply, divide, and reading complex for comprehension, so it is my duty to make those experiences enjoyable and without leaving no one behind.
Having an environment of learning and high expectations will not only make them grow but will also make in the long-lasting effects that they will use for their future.
